It looks like there is definitely a regression in SU2017 where SketchUpViewerAPI.dll is certainly lacking from the SketchUp installation index. As a work-around users can copy the file from C:Program FilesSketchUpSketchUp 2017LayOut toC:Program FilesSketchUpSketchUp 2017 and the sample should function once again. Can you observe if the illustration functions for you by replicating over the DLL? This concern has been recently filed in house and we'll obtain it up to date in next discharge. There is a discussion on the forum which show up to become related: http://forums.sketchup.com/t/the-sketchupapi-layoutapi-2017-sdk-bug/36164/2?u=ttsu |

MC.EXE
We've made some essential changes to the D/C ETW program code generation of Message Compiler (MC, or mc.exe):
Information Compiler (mc.exe)
Information Compiler (mc.exe)
- The “-mof” change (to produce XP-compatible ETW helpers) is usually regarded to become deprecated and will become removed in a future edition of mc.exe. Getting rid of this change will cause the generated ETW helpers to anticipate Windows vista or later.
- The “-A new” change (to create.BIN files making use of ANSI encoding instead of Unicode) can be considered to be deprecated and will be eliminated in a long term version of mc.exe. Eliminating this change will cause the generated.BIN data files to make use of Unicode thread encoding.
- The behaviour of the “-A” switch has changed. Prior to Home windows 1607 Anniversary Up-date SDK, when using the -A switch, BIN files were encoded using the construct program's ANSI code page. In the Windows 1607 Anniversary Revise SDK, mc.exe'h behavior has been inadvertently transformed to encode BIN files making use of the construct system's OEM program code web page. In the 19H1 SDK, mc.exe'h previous habits has ended up renewed and it right now encodes Rubbish bin files using the construct program's ANSI code page. Notice that the -A new switch can be deprecated, as ANSI-encoded Rubbish bin files do not provide a constant user knowledge in multi-lingual systems.
